I am making this a very short entry. I only decided to write at all because I think it's worth mentioning that I had 2nd row tickets to this particular concert.
I'm not a huge Shania fan. Everyone at work was ready to jump me for the tickets and I was all like "take them, I don't want them." The things I do for love... But Don was tired and he was late and we were stuck in traffic and it turned into a fiasco and I can't even tell you who the opening act was because we got there at almost 8:30pm.
We had second row. There was a roundish stage (more oval). There was a lot of action right in front of me. She actually came up to us and was five feet away for a few minutes. It was excting, but I'm surprised that I don't go crazy around these celebrities. If you think about it, they're just normal people. She couldn't have been too much over 5 feet tall. She came up to my boobs in her 3 inch heels.
My favorite part about the concert, I will concede, is when she did a wardrobe change from the Steve Y jersey to a yellow tank top. She threw her hand up to wave and I could see obvious jiggle under her arm. These people are normal. She was a size negative 8 with arm jiggle. I love it.
I calmed down a lot after the jiggle. There were pyrotechnics and I thought I was going to die. I had ear plugs in from the start. I'll tell you what. After those plugs go in, you feel like you're not really there. Nothing is loud (except for the exploding stage 10 feet in front of you) and you just feel detached. I felt like I wasn't really there for most of the concert.
I couldn't remember any of the words.
